Educational Background
"[What shadowing with me would entail] depends on the student preference and date of shadowing, as my schedule changed every 2-4 weeks to a different division within the department. Students could shadow anywhere between 1 hour or a full day. Most of the day is spent interpreting or performing radiology studies (X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound). Opportunities to watch interventional procedures could also be easily arranged. There are usually 1-2 lectures and/or multidisciplinary conferences each day. There likely would be little direct interaction with patients."
- University of Michigan, B.S. in Cellular and Molecular Biology
- Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine, M.D.
- St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Internship
- University of California, San Diego, Residency - Radiology
- 4th out of a 5-year residency in radiology
- Currently applying for a fellowship position in interventional radiology
- Studying for board examination, in addition to daily clinical work

Educational Background
"If the mentee is searching for a hands on experience with significant patient interaction, then we probably would not make the best match. The mentee will however gain exposure to a number of individuals at different levels of training including medical students, residents, and attendings in a friendly, fun, collegial and fast paced environment while learning about CT, MRI, ultrasound, x-ray, and other imaging modalities used in the diagnosis of injuries and diseases ranging from cancer to trauma. For interested students (very optional), small projects or case reports may be available."
- Stanford University, B.S
- Brown University, M.D.
- Scripps Mercy San Diego, Internship
- University of California, San Diego, Residency - Radiology
- 1st out of a 4-year residency in radiology
- Interested in may radiology sub-specialty interests including women's imaging, cardiothoracic, body and breast
- Will pursue a fellowship after residency and possibly practice in academics
- Option to wear scrubs or business casual when shadowing
